My 2 year old hit her head at the daycare (she fell), and it resulted in a concussion in the beginning of febuary. About 5 days later she passed out at home, I was holding her, and she went completely stiff, then passed out. Almost 3 weeks later I was picking her up from daycare, and she ran to me, then after talking to her for a few minutes she fell over, and passed out again. That time she was out for close to 5 minutes. She has since has some balance issues, and has passed out once more for only 15-20 seconds. She has had an EEG, which they said was normal, and a MRI which showed hyperintensity in the deep white matter close to the left ventricle of her brain. We have been referred my her doctor to a pediatric neurosurgeon. Please tell me what to expect, and what this could possibly be??

I haven't had one, and I don't know enough to give you an answer other than to look there, because that is the most likely underlying problem.
