My daughter was born 4/7/09, 5lbs 9oz, emergency c-section due to her being transverse and the cord was wrapped around her.
She is up to date on her shots and went and had her 4 month shots on 8/19 which consisted of rotavirus, DtaP (Diphtheria, tetanus and acellular pertussis) and PCV (Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine)
The past week she has been agressively twitching her head back and forth, kinda like she is shaking her head "no." It is very obvious that it is involuntary. I am very worried as it does not look normal at all, she gets upset.
I took her to her pedi and when I explained what was wrong The dr. just had a blank look on her face and told me she honestly does not know what is wrong and offered no help or referral to someone who would have more experience in this area. :(
Does anyone know what may be wrong and who would be best to contact?
I am just so worried and am loosing sleep and would like to resolve this.
