Hi, can someone please help me.
I have been feeling shaky, trembly all over (not really noticeable on outside, but feel like this on inside) for about the past 3wks now.
I feel dizzy also.
I was diagnosed with Ross River Virus (mosquito bite infection) 6mths ago but don't think it's related to that.

I have swollen throat and glands (jaw) and saw dr yesterday who said i have chronic respiratory infection and now on antibiotics, but i feel that the shaky feeling isn't related.
I started feeling pain just below rib cage on left side for last 2 days also that has been there most of the time.

Please help. Anyone else feel same way?

Please help. Anyone else feel same way?Hi. I have been dealing with that same kind of shaky feeling for about 3 weeks too. Doc thought I was having Anxiety issues so she put me on Prozac and that's when I noticed it. I stopped the Prozac and switched to Zoloft because I have taken it before and didn't have any problems. But I was still having that shaky feeling so I stopped that too. I now take a half of a 0.5 mg pill of Xanax if I need to help "calm" my body down but I fear getting addicted to it. My diabetic sister thought that maybe my blood sugar is low so she tested my blood and it was normal. I don't know what this could be, but I feel for you. I wish I had an answer to give you, even give myself. It comes and goes throughout the day and it gets very irritating and uncomfortable. I have gone to the ER 2 times because of this, plus it brings on anxiety attacks because it worries me. My blood pressure was also high because of it, but after they gave me Xanax, BP went down and I was able to rest. Doc also tried me on Buspar which is like Xanax but it's not a narcotic and there's no sedation, but an hour after I took it, I felt like I had bengay all over my body. It went away within 1-2 minutes, but I didn't like it so I never took it again. I hope you find an answer. Everything I look up about shaking always has to do with anxiety. I'm lost and confused. Hope I haven't confused you too haha! Good luck.

  • I have the exact same symptoms. Feel like I have had tons of coffee, but haven't had coffee for weeks. Even experiencing a pain below the left rib cage. It has been two weeks now on and off. I thought it might be anxiety, but even when I feel relaxed I will start to have the shaky feeling. Have any of you figured out what this is?

Please help. Anyone else feel same way? I had this symptom in the past and it really scary. I was finally diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Thyroid Disease is the most commonly missed diagnosis in women. Ask your doctor to do a thyroid panel/blood test that includes T3, T4, and TSH levels. In my case my TSH--thyroid stimulating hormone--was so low. It causes dizziness and anxiety too. I hope this helps you. Best wishes & God bless.
