  • Your symptoms sound a lot like MS to me. Get to a neurologist, but by all means spend some time looking for a good one. Look for someone that will work with you. I would suggest an MRI of the brain and spine and a Lumbar puncture. Those may sound like scary tests but the sooner you get an answer the better. Also, from what I have heard and seen, many people have nothing show up on MRI for years, however a Lumbar Puncture is more difinative. One friend of mine has been diagnosed for five years through the LP, but her first lession just showed up on MRI this year. Get educated. Most doctors will not talk to you at all about nutrition and supplements and IF you have MS there is alot to learn. I would recomend ... " Multiple Sclerosis. A Self Help Guide to Its Management" Written by Judy Graham. Hope this helps you. If you want, you can find me at myspace.com/tammynstan You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs

  • Lyme Disease and its co infections cause Ms and many other things. Personally, I would skip the puncture and get the Mri. Check out this link www.lymenet.org you may find alot of answers here. Hope you find out soon and can get to feeling better.

  • I would find a good neurologist who would evaluate you for MS. A good neurologist is not easy to find. They seem to be very secretive about a possible diagnosis, and not willing to state the facts until absolutely proven by tests. Unfortunately, it takes about seven years on average, from the onset of symptoms to diagnosis of MS. I know from my personal experience that is extremely frustrating to be told by physician after physician, that there is nothing wrong with you while the symptoms are overwhelming. However, once I found a neurologist who worked with me, and treated me symptomatically, I felt more at ease. I accepted the fact that it may take a while to find the cause.HiFor A Year Now Ive Been Suffering With Different Symptoms The First One I Remember Was This Tight Sqeezing Feeling All The Way Aroung My Upper Abdomen Into My Back All Bloods Were Normal And This Went On Every Day For A Couple Of Months, The Next Symptoms I Had Was Very Sore Skin Around Lower Abdo And Back It Felt Like I Was On Fire But Again All Blood Tests Neg Next Started The Vertigo Especially At Night Time I Would Awake To The Room Spinning Around This Sometimes Lasted For Around 45 Mins Again Went Docs And Was Ytold Had Inner Ear Problem (probably) I Have Had This On And Off Now For About Six Months...and Now For The Last Month I Have Been Having Pins And Needles And Burning In Hands Feet Ang Legs I Also Have Started To Get Restless Leg Syndrome Ang Fatigue Around Afternoon Time...today I Noticed A Mild Pain In My Left Eye Its Not Too Bothersome But I Also Feel As If Something Is In There Although There Isnt ...sorry Forgot To Mention My Weak Right Arm Sometimes I Lose All Strentgh In It And I Cannot Grip Things Properly My Speach Is Also Starting To Get Muddled I Keep Saying My Sentences The Wrong Way Round No Matter How Hard I Try It Just Doesnt Come Out Right...my Bowel Is Not Working Right At Mo Either Doc Suspects Ibs ..im Very Frustated Especially As All My Bloods Have Always Come Back Normal..i Have Read Some Info On Ms And Was Just Wondering...any Advice Please.....thankyou
