I am 22 years old and have been feeling very fatigue. I have a case of chronic headaches that come and go explainably (4+ years). I feel really dizzy at times when i'm just at home sitting down watchin T.V. I experience tingling sensations in my arms and legs and a burning sensation in my legs. I have sharp stabbing pains that go as quickly as they come all around my head and down my arms and legs. ( 4 months) I have trouble remembering things and at times difficulty taking notes in class ( about 7 months). (i have trouble copying down things as i read them or hear them. It's like i understand it, but can't reproduce it!) I often have a feeling of sort of a constricting feeling impairing my breathing (recently). 5 out of 7 days of the week, i become so tired i can't get through my day without having to take a nap. I have to go to the restroom to urinate at least 10 to 15 times a day. I have trouble controlling my urges to go. It seems as if i'm getting worse and worse by the week with new symptoms popping up.
MRI of my brain is "normal", thyroid bloodwork is normal, and i'm not anemic. On a scale of 1 to 10, i associate the level of my stress to be about a 4. I don't consider myself stressed.
Neurologist said it was all stress related and the reason why i can't breathe is because i'm hyperventilating. And because i'm hyperventilating, i am experiencing tingling and burning sensations in my limbs and possibly causing my headaches. Advice nurses have hinted at a neurological disorder, but my doctors have yet to make a diagnosis.
Should i request another MRI of my brain AND spine? Is this something serious enough to pursue considering how young i am?
I need help.
