While I was doing skating I fell back on the ground, which was happened 3 yrs ago. I suffered from back pain and I went to a chiro...for massage. Since then I did not feel any pain or symptoms. Since past three months both my wrists are getting pain..because of this I even quit my job..and my problem is I feel difficulty when I type key board and unable to lift heavy objects. and some times I feel neck pain and back pain. I went to a doctor saying that I didnt have carpal tunnel syndrome.

  • I have those problems with alot of others so just in case check out cushings and acromegaly and see if you have other symptoms of these.

  • Hi, Thanks a lot for posting my answer. I do not have any symptoms of acromegaly and cushings syndrome. As I posted earlier, I am getting worse pain, tingling and numbness in fore arm and my fingers. I am feeling pain over elbow region..and some times feeling popping sounds when I elevate the shoulders. I am unable to type because of finger weakness. I do not have insurance in u.s.some body clarify my doubt.

  • You could possibly have CTS-if you don't get treatment for it right away, you could suffer permanent "nerve" damage. I was diagnosed in April of 2004, filed for workers comp, and am to this day, still fighting w/WC to have my surgery on both hands. I started off waking w/numbness and pain, would shake it off and pain would stop. But over time, I lost grip strength, couldn't close hand into a fist, can't pick up small objects like coins or tacks using my thumb and ring fingers. Lately, I've gotten to the point that due to the numbness, I can't hold anything in my hand-it just falls out. Did you have EMG/NCS done to prove whether it was CTS or not?Okay if it's not CTS, it could be radiculopathy coming from your neck into your shoulders and hands (do you get like a shooting pain or is it an aching pain)? You could have a pinched nerve in your neck-I went to the ER a couple months ago bcz I awoke one morning and my arm/fingers were completely numb. Couldn't even pick my arm up from my side or wiggle my fingers. Have you had an mri of your neck?
