HI - I am 38 y/o and about every 3 to 4 months I would have these episodes of tremors in my legs etc.....it alsways happened at night and usually as I was sitting in bed watching tv......it would feel better if I moved around - walked etc but I would get panicky feeling because I did not know what was goning on. I did finally go to doctor and he did some simple blood tests but didn't see any thing.....that was in march 2011......I just had an episode on 6/28/11 at 9:19 pm and it lasted 11 minutes and went thru my upper body as well. It starts in legs (legs just don't feel right and a little tingly) I know its about to happen and then they start twitching uncontrollably and it moved up into my arms .........then 7/3/11 (never happened this close together before) I was at the movies and it happened n my legs and we had to leave - it is really freaking me out - I do not get confused and have my head totoally about me when its happening....I can speak and walking seems to help control the movements....one of the tests my doc did was B12 - which showed high 1728 but that to me does not mean I am absorbing what I need - I do smoke weed - have stopped as of 7/3/11 and did smoke a 1/2 hr b4 we went to movies ...also on the 28th when it went thru my whole body I did put a b12 meth-etc between my lip and maybe that helped - not sure. FInd it odd that it was only happening every 3 to 4 months which makes it hard to diagnos - also not sure if hormones could cause this kind of reaction. Please help - if you have ever had/heard of anything like this and what can help me.
Thanks all who reply - it is very scary and I would hate for it to happen when I am home alone
