An asleep thigh

I woke up yesterday with the front half of my left thigh "asleep". My parents are gone for the weekend, so they wrote that off as a problem with sleeping in a wierd position and that it could easily walked off at school that day and, normally, I would have agreed, but I went through the entire day with an asleep thigh and the rest of my left side itches like crazy. I thought that maybe if I slept through it I'd be fine, but I woke up this morning and I feel exactly the same. I feel like I'm dying and it's scaring me to death, but my sister refuses to take me to a doctor or anything. She thinks I'm over exagerating(spell check?) and ignores me. I feel so alone. I had High cholestoral(Spell Check?) about 2 years ago, but the last time I went they said I was fine. I'm so horrified and confused. :(

Can anyone tell me whats wrong and what I should do?
