Please look at the info below. Any help, advice will be greatly appreciated.
- About 12 weeks ago noticed a buzzing sensation in my penis (I've heard all the jokes) Buzzing now includes both legs, both arms and hands and now lower jaw. Sensations range from numbness to painful pins and needles. Have hyper-reflexia in both knees. (noted as unusual by two different drs) Been to orthopedist, opthamologist, general practionicer, neurologist and uriologist. Several of the drs have called me an enigma and have no clue whats going on. GP is the only one that is seemingly thinking out of the box. Have spent hours in MRIs and no signs of MS. Minor disk problems from C3 - C7. (Bulging Disk) Nerve conduction study on Monday. Cant sleep even with Ambien and muscle relaxers. I am a fit 38 year old male.

  • Try to see if you are vitamin deficient in anything. I know that doesn't make sense but sometimes we don't get enough of the right nutrients and we don't pay for it till we get older. Greenfoods.com Has great drinks that might help.anything helps.

  • Dear Jon:Two years ago, I started having a strange vibrating sensation (almost like a cell phone was inside set on the vibrate mode) in my torso, upper arms and legs. Finally went to a neurologist who specialized in muscle disease. I also started having weakness in my proximal arms and legs - proximal is the part that is closest to your torso. In any case, I found out I had something called PNH (peripheral nerve hyperexcitability syndrome) aka as Isaac's syndrome. You don't say if you have had any of these other symptoms I describe. Also, I had a girl friend who had numbness in her vaginal area. It turned out she had a brain tumor that was very low in her head and just happened to be spotted when the radiologist did a couple of extra shots when he was doing her CT or MRI - not sure which. Hope this helps in some way or at least points you in the a direction to start and NO YOU ARE NOT GOING CRAZY! I SURE THOUGHT I WAS TOO, BUT THERE IS ALWAYS A REASON FOR A SYMPTOM!!! Good Luck!
