Hi, Just recently, I've found a small lump in my neck. At first i thought it was muscle tension or swelling, but after playing with it I discovered it was a lump. Its painful to push in and is in the middle of the left side of my neck and firm to the touch. Another thing I noticed is the same kind of feeling(pain, small lump) was in my upper jaw on the same side a few days earlier(again I first atributed this to muscle tension). Is it posible the lump moved? What could it be in the first place? I'm 17 years old, no known alergies, no sore throat/problems. Thanks for any help.

  • This is probably just a swollen lymph node and it's pretty common for them to be swollen. They are there to fight infections. If it stays there without going down then you need to see a doctor.
