My shoulders are not even, I had a surgery when I was little

I have a problem which I consider serious for me, my shoulders are not even.

When I was just a few months old, my neck was inflated and a doctor advised that I should make a surgery and remove the muscles there, I don't know if it was necessary and if the doctor was right, my parents say that they realized too late that he was wrong and I didn't have to do it!

So my problem now, my right shoulder is higher than the left, and something like a bone shows from the left side of my neck, it's probably a nerve or something. it becomes too obvious when I turn my face to the left.

I feel it tensioned and I think it's why my right shoulder is higher than the left. Probably it's pulling it since I was a kid.

I feel embarrassed by this, and I think it affects my self esteem :(

I really need some advice here on how to solve this, is a surgery necessary? what are my options?

Thank you very much
