Xray showed hip ok, mri of pelvis, hip and knee showed tear in miniscus (which I've had for many years with no further problems. I also have the bottom two discs involved and have had that for years as well, without further problems.
A month ago I started having, for no apparent reason, pain in the upper left thigh where it almost meets the groin towards on the outer side of the thigh. It radiates toward the inner thigh, and down the front of the thigh to the knee. The knee then started to act up.
I can play golf, exercise etc. It hurst severely when I turn the wrong way (as when I sleep and try to turn over)....or put weight on it the wrong way.
I don't want to do knee surgery which has been under control if it's not the reason for the thigh/hip pain....but can't get any conclusive answers.
