What's wrong with me?

I've been to the doctor. He put me on meds for Rheumatoid Arthritis. I don't have all the symptoms of RA. I'm on the 2nd medication and it isn't working.
My first doctor told me to take 3 aleve 3 times a day, no relief...

I can't type for long because my wrist and arms ache.
I can't write without my hands aching.
I can't grasp something for more than 20 seconds w/o my hand cramping/aching
My back aches around my ribs and lower back.
I may have Ulnar Tunnel syndrome because my hands become numb if my arms are bent too long (like sleeping or leaning on elbow)
I have pain in my ankels, my calves, and knees when getting up after a long rest.
I get an occasional radiating pain in my left arm, either from the elbow to shoulder or elbow to wrist.
I'm exhausted even after sleeping.
Can't walk long distances without bad pain in shins.
Can't do anything without feeling fatigued within a little amount of time.
I have TMJ
I may have EBS but haven't seen a doctor for it.

Is this CFS? ME? RA? Cancer?

  • I so understand... but I do not have carpal tunnel.. Just a bit of advice...go see a rheumatologist. You could have fibromyalgia. which I have and you need your thyroid check by someone who will look beyond the blood tests. The pain in my legs and inability to walk is aggravated by being cold all the time or being in cold environments. Look for allergic reactions to foods. Allergies can cause disabling body problems. I'm still on the search for the underlying problem? But it may be a combination of things. don't give up.

  • did you ever see a geneticist regarding EDS hypermobility type? if your joints are hypermobile, it might explain your symptoms because it causes widespread joint pain and also other types of pain. it's usually misdiagnosed because most doctors don't know much about it.
