I've been having severe hip, sacroilliac joint and sacrum pain for the past year. From October 2009-December 2009, I was in physical therapy to try to help, but had no diagnosis on what was wrong. The only thing that the doctors could find was that my right hip sits 9 mm above my left hip. The physical therapy did not help so thereafter I started going to a chiropractor. I had 2-3 sessions a week with her to no avail. I was diagnosed with femoracetabular impingement in April but after a recent cortisone injection that had no effect, that diagnosis was tossed out. I just recently saw a rheumatologist to see if I have rheumatoid arthritis but she said my symptoms and pain is not consistent with RA. The pain is so severe that I have not been able to work or my work performance is poor. I'm awake til 3 or 4 in the morning at night, every night because I'm in so much pain I can't sleep. I've taken tylenol, ibuprofen, advil, tylenol-3, vicodin, and now I'm on Tramadol with little to no help from any of the aforementioned pain medicines. I'm lost, in pain and don't know how much more I can take. What could this possibly be? Has anyone else ever experienced this?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
