I am a 24 year old female with mild to severe joint pain. I have been experiencing this for about a year. It seems to effect any joint, one day it will be in my knee, a couple days later my hip. When it is in my fingers I can see swelling and reddness. I know I need to go to the doctor, but I have had such horrible experiences with doctors as it took over 6 years to diagnose me with endometriosis and was accused of being crazy before they looked for it. Any ideas would be very helpful.

  • Hi i have similar thing, it started with fingers swelling, then hand pain so bad it was hard to grip i was like this for about 2 months, then since last week i have pain in toes and now my knee, i also feel sick and very unwell i have had nerve conduction test incase of carpel tunnel syndrome and also xrays on hands and chest im still waiting for results, by the way all my pain seems to be on right side of everything which is strange, i think you need to go and see rheumatologist and have the same test done i think its either arthritis or carpel tunnel or you can actually get both together, do you have any tingling? by the time you have seen rhematologist and had tests you can expect some sort of result within 3 months thats how long ive waited but should know in next 2 weeks if anything has showed up, good luck.
