Stabbing pain in shoulder?

For a few weeks now, I've been experiencing stabbing pain in my right shoulder blade. Sometimes it's so bad it wraps around to the front of my chest. Taking motrin or tylenol doesn't help the pain. At first I thought it was because of gallbladder issues but I had a sonogram and it was fine. Thoughts?

  • It sounds like how my cervical pain felt after numbness in my neck. Try to get an MRI if it lasts too long. It could be from a simple strain, but it could be the beginning of something serious. I'm no doctor, but I have had lots of pain. Good luck to you
