Has anyone heard of this. Only when startled, or scared--I get really sharp pain shooting from right at or sometimes above my wrists on both or sometimes just the left hand that lasts for a few seconds and is followed by a duller pain and them sometimes slight numbness. All of it is gone without 2-3 minutes and it only happens when startled like when someone cuts in front of you on the freeway or when you slip on the stairs and think you are going to fall.....anyone heard of this. I have had carpal tunnel and surgeries for it and it isn't at all like that.
