I am only 21 yrs old, in very healthy condition. I excersise and eat good, take vitamines and stay hydrated. But for the past 2 months or so when I go to write for more than a paragraph, or hold different objects, such as a nail polish brush, or a nail file, even my hand gun, I had a really hard time loading the rounding into my clip...my hand cramps really bad.
I know that you can get these types of cramps from being dehydrated and not getting the right vit, or if you haven't used your small motor muscles in your hand in a while. But I draw with pencile and use charcoal, so it involves pushing and coloring. Now I can't do this for more than a few minutes. I have had this problem for a year or so but only noticed it when I would hold a pile of papers with one hand. It didn't matter right or left, they would cramp to the point I couldn't hold anything for a bit to let it rest.
never really gave me the time of day about it. Saying that I must be using my hand more than usual.
The cramping isn't in my fingers or wrist. It's in mainly the meaty muscle between my thumb and forefinger. It also happens in my left hand.
Any input...similar symptoms or anything. It is getting worse. Thank you
