Back in February of last year I fell of a ladder and landed on my big toe. Apparently I fractured it and didn't know it - thought it was just sprained. When I went to see the doctor he said the fracture healed (fracture on the cunieform bone) but I had a fragment loose and I can have surgery to remove it if I wanted. So of course I did since I was in pain. So he did the surgery and found that there were 2 fragments floating around. So okay that was back in October and it is now the end of February and I am still in pain. He said it should take four months to heal. So now after four months after the surgery I felt good so I started to run and apparently that was a bad idea. So, I went back to the doctor for toe pain last month and he said I have capsulities in the big toe. So okay he gave me Reflan for a month and no running and that seemed to work until a week before I finished the medicine. So I am going back again on March 2 to see what is really wrong. I work in retail so I am constantly on my feet everyday so this has been really hard. Especially for a Management position.

Here are my symptoms if someone can give me some clue to help me out a little - He said I might have arthritis so maybe that is all I am feeling but it doesn't feel like that. I have no swelling so that is why it is so hard for me to fiqure out what is wrong. I have stabbing pain in my toe joint area with a achy feeling and when I stand on it, sometimes it will give out on me . But along with the toe pain it seems to radiate up my leg near my lower right abdomen. So my leg gets crampy and achy. And my muscles in my foot seem to be sore still. If I flex it it will cramp up and become stiff.

I tried to look for my symtoms and I found two things that it could be but questionable - bone infection or dvt (which it can't be since there is no swelling or heat) Sorry if this was long but I thought you might need to know all that. Please let me know if if anyone knows what could be wrong.
