recently returned from a skiing holiday in march with a dry night time cough. This became very persistent 24/7 and i felt dreadful. Developed a very sore throat about 10 days later. My chest hurt all round my heart and was only relieved by leaning forward slightly. Ended up in hospital for 2 days and then sent home. BP all over the place but worryingly high for me.....180/85 with a pulse of 80 and i am normally 120/70 with a pilse of 45. Have felt ill for 65 weeks now and the chest pain is constant. It doesnt hurt any more with breathing in /out or coughing. Anyone else had similar after a viral cough
