Hi All, I have a real issue here. I have been running for 4 months now. Lately I was really starting to find my stride and actually enjoy my runs - which are only 2-3 miles - then all of a sudden, 3 days ago i went for a run in the morning and made it 1/2 mile when teh discomfort started on the inside of my left foot, wrapping under it to the outside of the ankle bone. I tried to run through it, but my hip started to hurt and I stopped my run short and headed back. by the time I got to my car, I was limping severely, with pain from my outer hip, around the back of my thigh, my calf tight, sharp pain on the inside of my calf just below the bulge in the muscle, tender to the touch all along the inside to just above my ankle, and dull pain in my ankle. It went away quickly with some Bengay, so I went out the next day and ran fine until the very end then it all just seemed to seize up on me from my hip to my foot in a big spiral. I always warm up and stretch thoroughly. I don't have time for this as I have a police physical fitness test I need to pass soon. Does anyone have any idea what the heck is going on with my leg, how to fix it, ease it along, anything? I am working on my last 30 pounds, and I am so close to passing this test!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
