  • Your systems that eliminate waste products are overworked. For 7 days, eat only brown rice cooked in water, topped with steamed veggies and a little salt. Avoid oil of any kind, no butter, no meat (tuna in water is fine), no bread - all as fat free as possible. Also totally avoid sugar. Drink nothing but filtered still water, at least 6 glasses spread over the day and night. If this fixes your swollen legs, carefully add one extra food item for 3 days and see what the legs do, waiting to the last with oils and sugars. Some people take innocent herbal tea and their legs do that. It shows their bodies are on the edge in general, they need to be careful. The doctor may give you meds, to force the problem away, but that won't really fix anything of course.
