Hi im hoping someone here can explain something to me. I broke my jaw in three places 8 years ago. This year I decided to see if surgery was possible to make my face feel and look more balanced. Unfortunately the doctors said there was nothing they could do, however when i was describing my symptoms I told them about a recent complaint of mine. I keep getting spasms in my neck which are quite distressing and uncomfortable. I told the doctor this and he replied by saying the neck spasms had nothing to do with my jaw complaint. Anyway i have an appointment i have just found out tomorrow for an ultrasound of my neck. I don't understand why though, i would like to find out what is causing the spasms but even i didn't think it was serious. But then i think if the doctors didn't think it could be serious, then why give me this appointment at all? i begged for years to have an ultrasound years ago which diagnosed me with PCOS and now they're giving me an ultrasound for my neck despite the fact i didn't ask.
any info will be hugely appreciated
