Here goes. A year ago I started having a plugged ear sensation. Dr prescibed sinus med and nasonex. A few months later I noticed my neck poping everytime I turn my head. It seems that when my neck gets really stiff and cracks a lot when I turn it that I also have the plugged ear feeling. It was horrible in the spring and much improved during the summer. Lately is popping like crazy anytime I move my neck. It is like I can hear in my left ear every turn of my neck. It is like every word I say is vibrating in my left ear. Does not hurt but when it bothers me a lot it seems to put a lot of pressure on my neck leading towards ear area and the entire left side of my head feels plugged. Also a few months ago I noticed that the big muscle on top of my armpit seems to be enlarged on the left side. The neck problem is also only on the left side. The enlarged muscle is the one going across top of armpit area that goes from shoulder to breast area. I will also get a little swelling and sore muscles down below armpit. Specifically it is in the area where there is a patch of muscle tissue a few inches below the armpit but actually kinda in the side area. All of the muscle issues are not large or do not really bother me. My wife says she she can barely see what I am talking about but once I insist she says she can tell that the left side is shightly enlarged. For several months the enlarged muscle on top will get a little better and then worse, etc. It does not really hurt. More of the swelling is towards the breast side. Last thing I will mention is that my left leg is slightly longer than right one. I have heard that as you age that can cause spine, neck problems, etc. Summary: neck cracking and plugged ear bother me a lot but I have learned to tolerate it most of the time. The enlarged muscle issue freaks me out though. Other than these things mentioned I generally feel really good. What can this be? What type Dr do I need to see?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
