I am 30 yrs old. I have two children ages 10 and 6. I am 5'1 and 100lbs. I was diagnosed with Fybromyalgia about a year ago. I also have had MRI's of my neck, hips and back all coming back fine. My blood work including my ANA is all fine. My EMG says I have nerve damage in my L5. I have Chronic severe sciatica pain on my right leg that radiates down all the way to my foot and then makes it feel hot with tingles and sometimes numb. The shoting pains also happen on the other side as well.
I have large knots on the top on my neck, shoulders, shoulder blades and back. If I do any type of physical activity at all I will wake up the next day with my body completely sore! It feels like every muscle in my body has been ripped and torn! The pain is horrible. I am constantly tired and cant ever seem to get enough rest, although at times I also can not seem to sleep on my good days (I think from fear of waking up with a bad day ahead of me). Oh, I also notice that when my husband massages me it seems to do more damage. I also start to spasm through any type of massaging and the knots reappear right away! My joints including my shoulders (creek at times), wrist (hurt), and knees (pop in and out in certain positions). :(
I dont think this is only my FM. It seems to be so painful and severe that I couldn't imagine it being something like the way FM is described to be. But, my Rhemo and PM believe it is.
Am I getting the correct information or could this be something more that the doctors are just ignoring??
