Just graduated College and people joke how i will get fat, lazy and old, i say NO WAY...
TILL 1 month ago when i woke up to a stiff left middle finger... I noticed it had been growing stiff in the last 3 or 4 days, but THIS DAY, nothing past 90 degrees...
I went to the doctor, but saw the P.A. instead... she said i had 'MALLET FINGER' which was common in Rock Climbers... she said i put too much strain on my finger tips and aggrevated the tendons in my hand, she pinned it on when i moved in my furniture the week before.
She said like whiplash, it takes time to develop. She gave me a finger splint to wear for 3 to 4 days during the day (don't have to wear it at night) AND IT WORKED !!!
EXCEPT- i still have pain at the joint in my palm when i make a tight fist
BUT NOW>>>> I have the same problem in my RIGHT HAND on my pointer, middle AND Ring finger... I just can't find 3 or 4 DAYS where i don't need to use my right fingers every 5 seconds.
So i'm tryin to heal one at a time... maybe it will work???
