For years I have had muscle weakness mainly upper leg and knee. When I don't exercise I am not as aware of it, but I am constantly trying to get into shape. This naturally makes it worse. Under normal conditions, I can press on the muscles on my legs the entire upper length and it is rather sore. This occurs even with no exercise but is worsened after exercise. Sometimes I can do light walking for several days, but as soon as I try to get any real distance into my walking, something stops me. Usually knees (which x-ray just fine).
If I don't exercise it doesn't usually hurt (unless I press on it) and then this is chronic.
I am so frustrated. I want to go out walking every day and just can't. Any thoughts?
