Hello. I have been having muscle twitches for over 3 months. I have also had a couple times that I've awakened with leg muscle cramps. These twitches are random, all over my entire body. I can see and feel the skin pulsating when they happen. Sometimes they last a second and other times for a few days. They are in my feet, legs, butt, arms, face, chest, pelvis - EVERYWHERE. I've also noticed very, very tender spots when I press on muscles. My husband has felt them and feels the hardness/knots in the muscle. They have been in my arms, by the elbows, by the knees, lower pelvis, all over my butt, in the chest around sternum and they hurt terribly!! I am currently feeling the pain on my lower left outer calf. It just comes and goes. The pain is so intense it almost feels like it's my bone. I've talked to two Dr's. One told me it's all in my head - amazing medical advice, right? The other is running blood test. I also have had a lot of confusion. I was driving home the other night and I suddenly didn't know where I was at! Another symptom is lately, my hands have been weak. I can't open milk tops, water bottles without a struggle. It feels like I'm over-exerting when I just try to fix my hair or wash my hair. I'm ONLY 27. This should not be happening to me. I need help and I'm tired of no one listening to me. I have lost my appetite b/c I'm so worried. I've lost 7 lbs. also. Does anyone know what this could be??? Please, please help.

*Also, I've had numerous occasions of tingling on my skin and scalp. I've felt a very hot sharp feeling too. I thought someone was dripping their coffee on me one day and realized no one was even next to me. It comes and goes. *

  • First of all I want to say I am sorry that you are going through what you are . Sounds like some of the things that I have been going through myself. The only thing I can sugest to you at this point is see a good neurologist. I have had many of those same symptoms. The only thing at this point they have been able to tell my is that I have fibromyalgia, but are still running test to find out what is causing everything else. I wish I had an answer for you, but I myself is still getting tested for some of those same things. I would really sugest that you really get into a neurologist. Hello.
