I suffer from cronic muscle pain. (for no real reason) My muscles are sore all the time and I have knotts all over my body. The only thing that gives me relief is a deep tissue massage. To feel my muscles, they are very bumpy and don't feel smooth. I have seen many doctors over about 18 years and have been told that i am young and healthy. I have had series of tests run to rule out diseases and i past with flying colors. So, what is making my muscles this way? It is almost constant pain. I get headaches when the pain gets really bad. I have also recently found that i have a herniated & a buldging disk in my low back. I don't consider myself a very 'strong' person as far as muscle strength. My muscles just don't seem healthy and i just don't know what to do. When i was a teen, i was told that I had Cronic Fatigue Syndrome, with nothing they could do. As an Adult, I am diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, with nothing they can do. I just can't accept that. Any one with any information - please, please help!

  • Could it be Padget's disease? I really can't help you but I have some of the same pain.I will explain what I feel.Back pain for many weeks (mid back) Feels like a catch in one area.MRI and X-rays show nothing.Later the pain got worse lower back to hips, moves to upper and lower legs.It feels like my bones ache and muscles makes my legs jump by them selfwith pressure of build up pain .... It is worse at night.I am on my feet 12 hour work days. If I work 8 hours the pain is no different. If I don't work and stay home the pain is less. The night pain comes wetherI'm at work or at home. It feels like my muscles bunch up and then pain in the bones come. Some times I think I have the flu all the time with the bone pain. But the jumping of muscles with biuld up pressure is unexplained.I am so lost when I see the Pain management doctor He never can tell me what is wrong with me. The xrays never show anything.....

  • I also, suffer....The ONLY thing that I have found that will help is actupuncture and deep tissue massage with a lymph node massage for drainage. None of which is covered by insurance. I try to rotate one treatment per month and find this is good for a 30% improvement. I also use a personal oxygen system for 10-15 seconds before bed which also seems to help with restless sleep.
