Muscle mass loss, hypothyroidism, and disbetes link

I have always had low blood sugar since college and have been very thin. Within the past two years (I am 62) I have noticed a light headedness, extreme loss of muscle mass and after I eat I feel sick in my neck and just awful at times. I do not eat junk food, no diet food/drinks, no pre-made foods. My lower legs just above the ankle have begun to swell and I noticed a series of blisters (?) which itch and my skin all over usually itches after I eat.
I was started on Armour last August a year ago and am taking 45ml each morning. I felt much better than I had but these other symptoms have me worried.
I'm now thinking this hypothyroidism was possibly diabetes instead - wrong diagnosis? I'm at a loss and feel very tired even though I try to walk 1 to 2 miles a day and do 15 minutes of cardio weight lifting, etc. Can someone help with my diagnosis?
