I had 2 herniated disc. The result was 2 surgeries (laminectomy). Last surgery was 8 years ago. A few months ago the pain came back along with 24/7 muscle fasciculations in right leg.
After the Orthopedic MD requested a MRI they believe there's another herniation in L5 (same operated dic). He wants a vertebra fusion.
Instead I went through de-compression therapy with a quiropractor. The pain went away but the fasciculations didn't. Sometimes I can feel the fasciculations in my left leg and arms also. Need to go to see my doctor to see if he can refer to a neurologist. How can I convince him? I use Clonazepan to be able to sleep some times. I take Glucosamine as a suplement.
I had 'controled' high blood pressure (lisinopril), both parents have diabetes. In my teenage days I had clamidia. Did AIDS test a few years ago and I'm negative. I think this is the complete scenario. I'm very worry is a degenerative muscle disease and doctors from Kaiser don't want to explore more options
