Hi - a few years ago I suffered from candida (an overgrowth of yeast in my digestive system) which caused leaky gut syndrome. One of the symptoms was heavy and aching legs with burning sensations in one leg in particular. I recovered from the candida but the muscle pain has returned. It is worse if I hav'nt had enough exercise but never really goes away. In addition I have intermittent and shifting discomfort under my rib cage as if they are digging into something. It is relieved by sitting up straight or stretching out if I'm lying down. Any ideas please?

  • I gave up dairy foods and lost the good bacteria in my gut. Everyone has some yeast in their gut but if the balance is disrupted it can cause havoc in the body. The yeast multiplies and breaks through the gut setting up home in different parts of the body and causing all sorts of problems. If you google candida you can read more about it but I suffered diahorrea, aching muscles, extreme lethargy, craving for sweet foods ( it was the yeast saying feed me, feed me), foggy thinking ie the simplest of tasks seemed difficult. I think if you had a problem with yeast you would have other symptoms in addition to the aching muscles.

I also have coldness and numbness effecting my whole left side. If you get any answers let me know, I am frustrated. I have seen a neurologist...been for CT and blood and urine tests with no results...all are negetive. So, once again if you get any hints for me...heehee...let me know please.
