Jaw Pain

My jaws have always made popping sounds when I ate or yawned. Recently the popping has stopped and I am having some mild to moderate pain in my jaw. My dentist has ordered a mouth splint to wear at night. What could be causing this pain? It does not hurt all the time or every day. I do tend to clench my teeth during the day because of stress. Any thoughts?

  • :) That should be easy to address an answer to. The key word you use "stress", is something you must take care of first. Allow me to proceed; do you now or have you ever read the Bible? If so, thats excelent because the Bible "is" our owners manual. Just like the one that comes with, tv, phone, stereo & etc. Shows how to fix a problem, if you have any questions reply to this post, & i'll do what i can to help.
