I've been experiencing acute arm pain for over 5 months now. It's not really a constant pain, but I feel it the most in the morning right after I wake up. I've been always assuming that it's parasthesia because most of the time, if not always, I sleep on my left arm which makes me think that I somewhat damaged the nerves by putting too much pressure on my arm. However, I've never experienced any tingling or numb sensations, but just plain acute pain on my triceps muscle. I also recall that I used to wake up a couple of times in the middle of the night with a really numb arm. Sometimes during the day, when I lift up my arm I feel that pain too but no numbness or tingling.
I work out and when I do certain exercises, bench press in particular, my left upper arm feels so weak that I feel like dropping weights.
