I am 22 years old and since last year, I have been experiencing painful neck spasms that affect me every day. The pain feels as if someone is pulling my neck to the right and indeed I have noticed a slight shift of the neck. I am terrified because I don't know what is happening to me. My mother has had torticollis for over 20 years now and I refuse to admit that I may have what she has. I long for the days when I was normal, when I would wake up without pain or fatigue or frightening facial muscle spasms. I long to be aligned again because I know something is not right inside me. I don't have any health insurance so there are a lot hoops I have to jump just to get an appointment with a general doctor. I hate our healthcare system!! Other symptoms include, brief fogginess in the eyes, tightness around right side of neck and shoulder, right shoulder is lower than the left, fatigue, and more pain. Also, this may not be a symptom, but sometimes when I have bad days, I feel this helplessness and loss of control, as if something inside has taken over my body and I have no say in it. I want to be normal again!! I need help!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
