Searching for a specialist in this potassium deficiency which causes temporary paralysis. My son's father, grandfather, and uncle have all suffered from muscle paralysis and difficulty waking up or opening their eyes and periods where they stop breathing. Little is known about this disease, then only suggestion doctors have suggested is to take a potassium suppliment, which actually may be causing more of the paralysis.
