In a soccer game I got kicked hard in the inside of my ankle...not on the bone but like behind it and it is tender there and up my leg a little but it is tender in like a line right behind the bone. There isnt really much swelling and I can walk fine...it only hurts to walk mainly when I get up from sitting or laying down etc or when I am running. I just want to know what I can do to ease the pain and if it sounds like anything I should go see a doctor for.
I play on two soccer teams and have soccer every night so its best if I can get over this as soon as possible!:)
Thanks for any help!

  • Acupuncture will really help you. I have treated lots of people with sports related injuries, including one with a broken tailbone who wanted to get back to motorcross racing in two weeks time. She made a quick recovery and raced after seeing me for two treatments. A good home remedy is to get some epsom salts and soak your leg in very warm water at night. Visit www.acufinder.com to find a practitioner practicing near you. Best wishesDOM

  • Of course, I didn't recommend that she go back to racing so soon. But she was a teenager, and very determined. Rest is always best after an injury like that:) DOM
