I fractured one of my ribs on the right side 13 months ago. X-Rays (Rib Films) show that the fracture is still healing over a year later. Is there anything I can do to help it heal? Is it normal that it is not completely healed yet? I went to go see an orthopedic docotr but the one I got sent to didnt work with rib fractures. I have been to a bunch of docotrs should i go see another one, or does it take this long for a fracture to heal. I had a bone scan that came back normal besides the fracture, a HIDA scan for my gallbladder (because thats what they thought at the time was causing the pain) One other thing is I have no idea how I fractured the rib in the first place. Please help!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
