I am 29 I have been told very recentely that i have freiberg's disease in my right foot, the 2nd mtp joint is quite bad to the point it is now in a u shape, I am waiting to see a consultant about it but i now have a sore left foot too, i'm am very new to this condition and don't really know much about it apart from what i have read.
I think the i'm getting the same condition on my left foot as i have had pain in the same place for weeks. I saw a foot doctor two years ago who gave me orthos to wear, which i wear all the time, BUT they are not helping my left foot!
So do i just put up with the pain in my left foot until i see a consultant?
I'm worried that if i don't get some treatment now, then it will get to the stage i'd need surgery?
any one any ideas what i should do?
Any-one have any experience with this disease??
