I am new to your site.I have been reading about how your all suffering from fibromyalgia.I am so sorry to hear this because I know how you feel.I have had this for around 7 years.I have been married for 37 years,worked as a youth counselor for over 10 years,have three grown children,and a dog and a cat.I went to a doctor 12 years ago about the pain in my lower back and down my legs because I have two ruptured disc.That is when I found out I had fibro is when he pressed on my back,hips and I yelled in pain and than he furthar examined me saying that I had fibromyalgia.He said it was in the dormant stage.
In 2003 I was at work and rested my hand on a banister rail when it broke and my hand went through to the other side.I had much pain in my shoulder,and upper back.I continued working for around one month and that's when I had tests and found out I had a rotator cuff tear in my shoulder.I had surgery and physical therapy for one and a half years and it never helped me.I had full blown fibro and hurt everywhere I could think of.I went to a pain management doctor who gave me shots,pills,but nothing helped.I couldn't work anymore because the medications I took made me too sleepy,and tired,and I had no energy.I applied for social socurity and was turned down the first email@example.com :)
