Hello I am posting this for my father. This weekend my father who is 64 did his normal thing of taking off his boot when he got home. He used one foot to pry off the boot. When he did he felt a sharp pop in the back towards his butt and back leg area.
However when he sits down he feels a lump in his butt check area. He limps while walking and can bend down to touch his toe. But when he brings the leg up that he feels the pain in as in like putting on a shoe standing up he can not bend down. He feels that pain in his lower back as if a lot of pressure. The doctor has said a hamstring. But I dont understand how that would affect the back area. It was very painful when it happened. And when he sits it is very painful. The only time his back hurts is when he brings his leg up and turns his foot over the other leg as if trying to put on slip on shoe or something.
