For a few months now, I have been suffering, and I mean suffering with upper arm pain. My cat's claw got caught in the top of my arm in February and I put peroxide on it and let it go then ended up putting Liquid Bandage on it. It seemed like it was ok but then about a month later I started getting pain in my arm right in the same spot. I saw my dr for the first time in the end of March and she did a blood work up and there was no infection, like no cat scratch disease or anything like that. She still sent me to an infectious disease specialist and she sent me to an orthopedic doctor, who I am still seeing. I was on 2.5 prednisone back in April for 3 weeks, which did not help, then 5 prednisone after that which still did not help. Then the ortho dr gave me a cortisone shot in the back of my shoulder 2 weeks ago tomorrow and that did not help. Why he put the shot in my shoulder I have no idea, shouldn't he have put it in my arm?? Anyway I am having an MRI in 45 minutes. I hope that they can find out why the pain is so bad. This pain has gotten worse, and now has radiated to my neck, ear and now upper back. It is a burning sensation with such pain! My nausea is horrible. Does anyone here have any clue what could be happening to me? I am kind of scared, but I am so drained and sad that I have this pain. It is horrible. I would rather give birth 2 times again or have back surgery again, which I had back in 2006. Please, if anyone can help by giving me some advice I would greatly appreciate it. And I can't type this much anymore as I am in so much pain doing it right now. Thank you so much for listening.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
