About 5 years ago I had a bike accident (throttle stuck in 2nd gear, red lined, narrow down hill road, double parked cars, tank slapper at ~60 mph). When falling off the bike I outstretched my arm to break my fall, causing an impacted fracture. The treatment was to hold my arm in a sling for two weeks. However, I still receive pain and stiffness from the joint. Sometimes when I try and straighten my arm it won't until I have bent the elbow and tried again, which usually causes a loud crack. I also get random 'crack' noises when moving my arm (once or twice a day), these are loud enough for my collogues to hear in the next room. I had an x-ray last year which didn't show any problems. Doctor wasn't much help, quote "if it gets worse come back". I also get a pain in my elbow when pulling the clutch leaver on my bike. Any explanation what could cause this and how to improve the elbow?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
