Does it mean anything?

For the last few weeks the middle finger on both of my hands have been sore and swollen in the morning after I wake up.

They are both sore in the same place which is the bottom portion of the finger closest to the palm.

I can bend the tip of my fingers toward the palm and it's like they pop into a certain place, stick in that place, and won't move unless I move them.

I have been diabetic for 32 years, and I wondered if that may have anything to do with it? I have also thought about Arthritis.

It's just wierd.

Any help?
