the question im asking is if i have a case here or if this is even worht going through with. on may 1st 2006 my right arm went through a car window and opened the top part of my forearm alot. big chunk of meat that split oopen. i went to the hospital right away and when i went there the nurse injected lidocaine into my arm. she then took a metal bristle pad and scrubbed the area to get all the glass out. i asked if there is any glass in my arm and she said no. the doctor came finally and stitched my arm up. it was 10-12 stitches. my mother came to fill out the paperwork. i have NO insurance. so we had to pay cash. the stitching came out really bad. i have nasty scars all over my forearm. they took the stitches out about 3 weeks later. its been healing ok but the scars will always stay. also i realize that there is a bump sticking out of my forearm. at first everyone said it was just damaged tissues and u have to massage it down and it will eventually be flat with your forearm, so i tried that and it hurt, bad. now (5 months later) my mother is worried so we went to our doctor and she said, this doesnt look right. she sent us to a place to get x rays which we also had to pay cash. after taking 2 x rays, i went into the waiting room and the lady that took the x rays came out with the x ray. there is a chunk of shattered glass where the bump in my arm is, and a few pieces around it. i have to go to a surgeon now and see whut they can do. is this a malpractice case? is it worth going to court for?
