I have been suffering for the past 5 months from what is right now and undiagnosed but is getting worse.
It started with some swelling on my hands and a rash which has now been diagnosed as chronic hives (doesn't look like a fifth's rash at all) but unknown what is causing it.
All of my symptoms come and go sometimes lasting a few minutes or a few hours but always go away.
I have been having sever muscle and joint pain as well as weakness. What feels like nerve pain in my shoulder, hand, hip and knee - almost always on my right side.
I have also had some swelling but never of my actual joints, only like my eye and jaw once.
I also have fatigue, but it's not as chronic as the pain.
The worst is the brain fog and neurological stuff. I get period where I feel drunk or high, I slur my words, stumble around and can't think very well.
I've had full blood work done and the only thing that showed up was Parvo B19 (Fifth's) antibodies, but the doctor said I must have had it as a child. Both my GP and rheumatologist made no mention or connection between my results and my current illness.
My question is, has anyone else had these symptoms and been told it was connected to fifth's. Or do you have to just have it the first time to have things happen. Any help or examples would help me alot.
Thanks so much.
