My husband has been chronically ill and immobile for five years - no diagnosis yet. Symptoms started with migrating joint pain, burning and excessive tearing of eyes, smell of infection off breath, stomach pain, severe weight loss, ringing in ears. Tumours in pancreas were isolated and surgery recommended; repeat MRI some months later and tumours were gone. Episode of electric disconnect running from head to feet and almost blacking out - this was the start of problems with right foot and leg - severe swelling and electric type pain shooting up leg - unable to hold leg in downward position. Red burning skin on fingers and hands; right hand diminished sensation although nerve studies were normal. SC and B skin cancers, and significant leg ulcers - Pyoderma Gangrenosum diagnosed but did not respond to usual treatment of steroids and immune suppressants. Leg ulcers healed once off medication. Now termed as difficult to treat vasculitis?? Blood work does not show Anti D .

Any ideas? Beyond desperate at this stage.
