Calf Swelling

First time here. I am a 34 year old female. My symptoms start like this: First I notice one or both knees feeling like my knee caps are loose and could rotate around towards the sides of my leg. They also pop/crack a lot and some times I have to "help" them pop and that does relieve some of the discomfort.

Next, one or both of my calves will begin to swell to the point where it feels like my calf skin could split. To others looking, they can't really see the amount of swelling that I feel, however, it is swollen and the skin feels very tight.

That is about it and would greatly appreciate anyone out there who has info on this condition.
