  • im only 19 and i have had this pain too, but mines are abit longer than 2 secs more like a minute and it kills. i have no idea what it is, i have never told a doctor about it either, if it is something serious, than i should go and tell my doc about it, but i aint sure. its like a horrible pain as if your vein is being stretechd.

  • DID ANYONE FIND OUT WHAT THIS IS???? I have similar pain, the way I discribe it is to think about a voodoo doll and someone just sticks the calf with a big needle. Does not last long 5-10 seconds but is a 9.9 on a scale from 1-10 for pain. Sharp and pin pointed. If I run my finger up or down my calf I can sometimes trigger the pain. Does this sound familiar? I'm going to Walter Reed in two weeks.

  • I too was experiencing sudden untimely calf pain. Sometimes while driving. Sometimes while watching TV. Sometimes while at work. Made no sense. It would come and go quickly. But very painful. I recently :)started taking potasium supplements and have not had the pain in over 2 weeks. You might discuss this with your doctor.

  • This happened to me last night, I was just laying in bed, stretched my leg out, felt something 'pop', and a debilitating pain started behind my knee. Not the first time it's happened either, but usually it goes away after a few minutes leaving me with some minor stiffness. This time it is swollen and I am walking with a noticeable limp.
