For a few months now I have been experiencing this burning feeling left hand side of my spine and up into my neck. The same area has also been goinginto muscle spasm. I can't do any kind of exercise at th moment, when I do th area becomes inflammed and swollen. I had some work done on this area by a backcare place. Any suggestions wud b very much appreciated. Thank you

  • I have many questions but a good place to start I feel is finding a good chiro(there is a difference) I would also look for a Pnmt (precision neuro muscular therapist ) between the two they will ask all the questions I would first ask. The pnmt therapist works with soft tissue (massage) by testing muscles then treating they also have an understanding of referring pain pattern and what I mean by that is when soft tissue is contracted around the nerve where it inervates the muscle it might not hurt where the problem is but could hurt in other areas. Also the chiropractor is able to check for sublexations and pinched nerves

  • Thank you for taking the time to reply. Any questions you have would be welcomed. I have been referred to a rhumetologist by my doctor as a blood sample showed quite high levels of muscle inflamation. Do you feel this is a correct line. I am also on th waiting list for orthapedics. Aswell as th burning pain there is often a sharp pain either side oft spine between th spine and th shoulder blade. As if th spine is digging into something sensitive. This is usually felt wen I rotate my body round. Thanks again for your time.
